Stained Glass Space Station

Strange Field is pleased to announce Stained Glass Space Station, a group exhibition by Andy Murray, Isaac Heard and Oscar Marcus Boyle. Featuring a new body of work, the three artists pick up from where they left off in their previous collective outing, Dust Roulette (2023).  

The exhibition elaborates upon a shared interest in using Gothic and Romantic impulses to compose a pathway to the cosmic elsewhere. Spiralling through history, they take the form of notional satellites orbiting this constructed world and its failed utopias, searching for what redemption can be found in dreams of the future, whilst stuck on a conveyor belt of matryoshka nightmares from the present moment. Can dreams begin again? A crystalline glow refracts light on a harvest moon.
