About the event
Saturday through Monday, we welcome back artists Maria-Cristina Onea, Chris Roberts and musician Jago Oswell for another series of of drop-in workshops exploring Pauline Oliveros’ practice of Deep Listening and the creation of sculptural sound objects from reclaimed materials.
Participants will take part in listening exercises, learn sound-making techniques, and build their own sound-producing objects using industrial found materials. All materials will be provided, but you are encouraged to bring objects of your own that you believe may produce interesting sounds.
No prior experience required. All welcome. Materials provided.
This series of workshops will run from Saturday, December 6th to Monday, December 8th, 12pm to 3pm each day on the second floor of 105-109 French Street.
