SOMNARIA — Opening Night

Strange Field are delighted to work in partnership with our local college Glasgow Kelvin College to platform the work of HND Art & Design graduates in their end of year exhibition, Somnaria. The exhibition spans illustration, painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, textiles, sound and performance.

The work on show spans an eclectic and diverse range of themes in contemporary art, design and society. From experiments in painting and print processes that explore memory, ageing, popular culture and social housing, to tackling urgent global issues such animal conservation through sustainable sculptural forms, the exhibition holds energy and ambition.

Experience the creativity and imagination of artists, illustrators and designers studying and working in Glasgow's East End.
