Ten of Strange Field's studio holders will be installing a multi-disciplinary exhibition, including painting, drawing, installation, video and music for Strange Field’s first show of 2026, signalling its continued commitment to supporting artists from the ground up.

About the event
Strange Field’s French Street venue in Dalmarnock is well known for its diverse range of hires, spanning contemporary art shows from artists of all career stages to music and experimental workshops and performances. It is perhaps lesser known for its artist studios on the first floor. Ten of these artists will be installing a multi-disciplinary exhibition, including painting, drawing, installation, video and music for Strange Field’s first show of 2026, signalling its continued commitment to supporting artists from the ground up. This is the first studio holder show since French streets’ opening in 2021 and is also the first show to utilise two floors of the building since its recent takeover of the whole building in 2025.
The opening night is scheduled for the 21st of January and will run until the 2nd of February 2026.
