About the event
Doors Open Days is Scotland’s largest free festival that celebrates heritage and the built environment. It offers free access to over a thousand venues across the country each September.
Strange Field are lucky to be the custodians of one of the few remaining listed buildings in Dalmarnock.
Previously Barrowfield Weaving Factory and sheds built in 1889 for John Brown & Sons - a power loom muslin manufactures.
We are keen to learn more about the buildings imporant industrial heritage and would love to hear from anyone with a connection to the buildings.
We are hosting an exhibition on the 17th and 18th in the main weaving shed - you can find details of the exhibtion here.
