DUENDE PRESENTS, TROPICAL SOUNDCLASH!

Duende returns for 2024! This year we will be doing a mixture of events between hosting live bands at the Rumshack & soundsystem dances at Strange Field's warehouse.   

Friday 26th April  Big dance incoming! A coming together of a scene that's been bubbling in Glasgow for a while.. The time will be split between the two sounds, with each showcasing the best selection/sound they have to offer. If you're looking for some heavy hitting bass, uplifting vibes and a sweaaaty dance then look no further.   Expect a hotttt selection of Cumbia, UK bass, Latin Bass, Dancehall, Salsa, Merengue, Kuduro, Amapiano & much much more

Desiato are a group of seasoned DJ friends that united in 2019 to create a new party experience celebrating afro-latin-world soundsystem culture. Powered by their bright, bold soundsystem, their colourful, energetic sets are lighthearted but heavy hitting. With live percussion, vocals, and lots of twists and turns, their combined decades of performance expertise come together to make dancefloor dynamite.   

Chubby's Hi Fi   Previously Zazim Soundsystem. The system has got a new look, a new name and new vibe. This will be it’s debut and they’re buzzing to get back in the game! Chubby’s will be powering the Duende warehouse events in 2024. Strongly influenced by the sounds and vibes of Latin America. 

In the Chubby's corner we've got....  Femme 45 The fire duo of Dakeli & ReQhuina return as Femme45 ! As always, expect a fiery selection of tropical bangers.   

Wends  A local MC who’s been making waves in recent years in the reggae, Bass music scene in the UK. A recent host of Hometown Soundsystem’s night Sound, Wend’s is no stranger to soundsystem culture. She’ll be holding down the mic duties for Chubby’s on the night
